A weekend in Würzburg

On March 21, three people of our debating team went to the annual Würzburg meeting hosted by Debating Society Germany. A big thank you to our coach Mrs Hecker, who enabled us a great experience like this once again.

Throughout all five debates, we had a lot of fun and even ended up qualifying for the quarterfinals, which will take place in May.

Until then: If you have questions about mental health education in schools, religious indoctrination or the 5% threshold in elections in Germany, please contact us. We’re free to start a debate with you any time…

A short excerpt of our Würzburg checklist:

-almost getting lost between Würzburg Hauptbahnhof and the youth hostel

-dance sessions in between debates

-getting ice cream and walking to Würzburg castle every night

-using the Hamilton soundtrack as our hype up song for every debate

-online beef with other teams via Instagram 😉 (a big shout out to Königin Olga Stift Stuttgart and Schubart Sharks Ulm)

-meeting lots of new friends (FSG Marbach, you know who you are)

-having fun with our favorite judge (you also know who you are)
