Das Cross Country Team auf dem “Haunted Trail”
-Milena, Haas, 10a –
In the first picture we’re sitting on a big swing at a pumpkin patch. In the backround you can see a big field surrounding us.

In the second picture we’re standing as a group of five at our first football game. The theme was USA so our clothes were matching.

Der USA-Austausch und Mora waren ein einmaliges Erlebnis.
Die Menschen waren alle extrem nett und die Natur unfassbar schön und noch viel wilder als in Deutschland.
– Konrad, Klapper, 10B –
“Jay Cooke showed me how breathtaking the nature in different types of countries are”

“Watching the sunset over the lake made me realize how peaceful and beautiful nature in the USA can be.”
– Lisa, Hofreuter, KS1 –

These two weeks in America were the best decision of my life. I met so many new friends and discovered many new places, which created a lot of amazing memories.

After a short trip with my exchange student, we were on the way to his grandparents. It was late afternoon, so we watched the beautiful sunset while driving.

Favorite moments you’ll never forget!
Whether on the bus, on the plane, or barefoot in an ice-cold lake – this trip was packed with big and small highlights. Campfire nights with the best people, crazy adventures, sunsets you wish could last forever.… and lots of laughter and happiness in between.
Whether chilling with friends, exploring together, or just soaking in nature – every moment was special.
I’m so grateful for this time, the memories, and the friends that will stay for lifetime! ❤️

At the Hinckley Highscool in Minnesota, Homecoming was in the week from the 6th to the 10th of October. At the end of the Homecoming week is always a big Football game. Luckely, we had the chance to see this big event, and it was awesome!

This is most of the group from Hickley-Finlayson Highschool with our exchange partners, after a volleyball game at our school in the main gym. Unfortunately, our team lost, but we still had a fun evening.

We ( v.l. Mika, Jakob, Owen, Moritz, Lukas, Milian and David ) have been at a Haunted Trail owned by Lukas‘s Exchange Student Jakob. A Haunted Trail is a ghost train to walk through. We helped to scare the people there and afterwards we ate Pizza.

This was our Parade. The parade for the football game in hinkley. They lost 49

Many of us found a great friend in their exchange student like I did in my awesome and really nice host family… They were probably one of the best parts of the exchange.
– Sylvia, Jochum, 10B –

My two-week exchange in the USA was such an amazing experience! I met so many new people, learned a lot about the culture, and made unforgettable memories. I’d love to go back right away!

During those two weeks in America, I experienced so much that it felt like I had already been there for ages. It’s incredible how quickly you can feel so comfortable with people who were actually strangers at first. I already miss the time and my exchange student so much. I will never forget those two weeks and keep them in memory forever.
– Lara, Buchenroth, KS1 –

America was a really cool place. My host family was really nice, and everything looked like something out of a movie.
We went to football games, volleyball games, and to Minneapolis.
School in Mora was also like something out of a high school movie.
I’m so grateful I was able to experience all of that.
– Chantal, Zeller, KS1 –
Here Ella and me (Elisa) went to the Haunted Trail with our host siblings and a friend. We had a lot of fun, even though some parts were really scary.
– Elisa, Pelizza, 10B –

During the two weeks of the exchange in the USA, I was able to gain many new experiences. The people there were all very warm and open, which made it easy to quickly make real friendships. My personal highlight was attending a high-school football game and then going to the Homecoming dance, where we laughed, danced, and had a lot of fun. I will never forget these two weeks and I’m looking forward to visiting my host family again someday.
